Anti-Coking and Anti-Sintering Ni/Al2O3 Catalysts in the Dry Reforming of Methane: Recent Progress and Prospects

Coking and metal sintering are limitations of large-scale applications Ni/Al2O3 catalysts in DRM reactions. In this review, several modification strategies to enhance the anti-deactivation property proposed discussed with recently developed catalyst systems, including structure morphology control, surface acidity/basicity, interfacial engineering oxygen defects. addition, structure–performance relationship deactivation/anti-deactivation mechanisms illustrated depth, followed by prospects for future work.
